Program To Reverse Number

C program to reverse a number and to print it on the screen. For example, if the input is 123, the output will be 321. In the program, we use the modulus operator (%) to obtain digits of the number. To invert the number write its digits from right to left.

Example: Program To Reverse Number

Output:

Explanation Of Code:

This program takes an integer input from the user. Then the while loop is used until n!=0 is false (0).

In each iteration of the loop, the remainder when n is divided by 10 is calculated and the value of n is reduced by 10 times.

Inside the loop, the reversed number is computed using:

rev = rev*10 + remainder;

num = 4562
rev_num = 0

rev_num = rev_num *10 + num%10 = 2
num = num/10 = 456

rev_num = rev_num *10 + num%10 = 20 + 6 = 26
num = num/10 = 45

rev_num = rev_num *10 + num%10 = 260 + 5 = 265
num = num/10 = 4

rev_num = rev_num *10 + num%10 = 265 + 4 = 2654
num = num/10 = 0
